In order to qualify for a free home visit, you need to be eligible for a NHS funded eye test (check the criteria here) and should be unable to leave your home unaccompanied to visit an optician due to a physical or mental illness or disability. If you do not meet these criteria but would still like a home eye test then a private home eye test can be arranged for you for a fee of £60.

Our team consists of both male and female optometrists. If you have a preference with whom you may be more comfortable with, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate your request. 

We aim to deliver your new glasses to you within 2-3 weeks of the date that they were ordered.

Yes, we welcome prescriptions from other UK based opticians. All you need is a copy of your up-to-date eye test and we can arrange a visit to help you pick out new frames to have dispensed.

Our home eye tests are conducted by optometrists who are all GOC registered and are College of Optometrists members who begin the appointment by establishing any concerns that you may be having with your vision, and will conclude the appointment by explaining their findings and giving recommendations about your eye health and vision that are tailored to your needs and lifestyle. In addition to this, we use state of the art equipment in order to carry out a thorough and comprehensive home eye test.

Yes, if you have any queries any time after your home eye test then feel free to get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to answer any questions you may have. If you require adjustments to any spectacles that have been dispensed then a visit can be arranged to carry this out for you.
